From existing inventory to a clear handover
Agree the review scope
Confirm the intended use, reporting criteria, verifier requirements and deadline. The engagement sets out deliverables, exclusions and the fee before work starts.
Check and resolve gaps
Review the files, discuss inconsistencies with your team and document agreed corrections. Additional calculations or missing-source reconstruction are scoped explicitly.
Prepare for reviewer questions
Walk through the findings and evidence index. Any support responding to the independent verifier is agreed separately within the engagement.
What to have available
Start with your inventory workbook or system export, methodology report, reporting boundary, factor sources and supporting fuel, electricity and other activity records. Include previous review findings and the customer or verifier request if available.
Incomplete records do not need to be hidden. Identifying missing evidence early helps determine what can be resolved, estimated transparently or left as a disclosed limitation.
What ISO support does and does not mean
ISO 14064-1:2018 addresses organisation-level GHG quantification and reporting. ISO 14064-3:2019 addresses verification and validation of GHG statements. This is a non-assurance review to prepare your inventory, not the independent verification itself.
Does Aethiro provide independent ISO 14064 verification?
No. Aethiro prepares inventories and evidence for review but does not issue independent assurance or verification statements. See the practitioner biography for background and training. Practitioner training is not organisational accreditation, and the independent verifier determines their own evidence needs, conclusions and statement.
Does this cover project reductions or tender requirements?
ISO 14064-2 concerns project-level emission reductions and removals; that is a different scope. For operational actions, see Emission Reduction Planning. A focused tender carbon package may suit a narrower request, but is not independently verified by this service.
